The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes were all down at the close of Thursday's trading, amid sales by Arab and foreign institutions and investment funds.
The market capital lost about 5.46 billion pounds. The main benchmark EGX 30 index went down by 1.36 percent, reaching 13,609.22 points.
The overall EGX 100 index was also down by 0.27 percent, registering 1,595.44 points.
Furthermore, the EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SMEs) went down by about 0.02 percent recording 700.73 points.
