Emerging-market stocks rallied the most in almost a week after the International Monetary Fund raised its global growth forecast and on speculation China will ease monetary policy. The MSCI Emerging Markets Index gained 0.3 per cent to 1,022.85 in London, the sharpest increase since April 12 on a closing basis. Samsung Electronics Co. climbed 3.5 per cent in Seoul, leading gains by technology companies.
