The gold price in Hong Kong rose 70 HK dollars at 15,090 HK dollars per tael on Friday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society. The price is equivalent to 1,631.06 U.S. dollars per ounce, up 7.56 U.S. dollars at the latest exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.766 HK dollars.
