The Indian stocks opened flat on Tuesday with the 30-scrip sensitive index of Bombay Stock Exchange, Sensex, opening at 17,308.89 points, 35.52 points or 0.21 percent up from the previous close of 17,273.37 points. The Indian market has remained sackless after the government presented its union budget for the fiscal 2012-13, widely considered as being conservative and lacking innovation.
