Indian main stock index Sensex opened at 15,890.80 points Monday 195.37 points or 1.24 percent higher from previous close of 15,695.43 on rise of Asian stock markets. Metal, realty, capital goods and power sector advanced 2.92 percent, 2.3 percent, 1.96 percent and 1.88 percent, respectively. Aluminum refiner Hindalco, copper maker Sterlite Industries, property developer DLF and Tata Motors picked up 4.23 percent, 3. 45 percent, 2.94 percent and 2.94 percent, respectively.
