The Qatar Exchange was slightly down on Wednesday 15.10 points or 0.18% to 8,319.17 points from the previous closing of 8,334.27. The volume of shares traded was down to 5,237,886 from 5,565,052 on Tuesday, and the value of shares fell to QR205,133,529.93 from QR231,284,064.56 Tuesday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped by 1.12% to QR141.20, Qatar Insurance fell 1.23% to QR80.00, Intl. Islamic Bank lost 1.53% to QR51.50 and Doha Bank down 0.81% to QR61.50. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 70.93 points while the Insurance sector down 86.44 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 2.82 points and the Services sector added 26.08 points.
