The Qatar Exchange was down on Tuesday 59.11 points or 0.70% to 8,382.29 points from the previous closing of 8,441.40. The volume of shares traded up to 3,491,768 from 2,917,064 on Monday, and the value of shares increased to QR123, 566,736.91 from QR101, 353,325.81 Monday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped by 0.94% to QR137.20, Electricity & Water lost 1.49% to QR139.00, Doha Bank fell 1.54% to QR51.10 and Qatar Navigation 1.13% to QR79.10. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 94.24 points while the Insurance sector added 8.64 points. The Qatar industrial sector down 53.89 points and the Services sector dropped 40.62 points.
