The Qatar Exchange was down on Tuesday 70.32 points or 0.83% to 8,400.04 points from the previous closing of 8,470.36. The volume of shares traded was up to 7,025,223 from 6,941,596 on Monday, and the value of shares fell to QR244,120,427.24 from QR281,289,457.48 Monday. Among the top losers were Comm. Bank of Qatar whose share dropped by 2.68% to QR79.80, Industries Qatar fell 1.09% to QR126.50, Barwa lost 1.01% to QR29.55 and Doha Bank down 2.07% to QR61.40. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 144.86 points while the Insurance sector fell 51.86 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 75.49 points and the Services sector down 17.64 points.
