The Qatar Exchange was in the green area Tuesday, adding 28.58 points or 0.35% to 8,124.12 points from the previous closing of 8,095.54. The volume of shares traded was up to 5,255,859 from 3,162,664 on Monday and the value of shares was increased to QR253,524,036.09 from QR129,877,498.63 Monday. Top gainers were Commercial Bank of Qatar which was up 1.88% to QR75.80, Islamic Insurance rose 1.19% to QR51.10, Doha Bank gained 1.22% to QR58.00 and Al Ahli Bank up by 3.38% to QR82.50. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 76.93 and the Insurance sector lost 17.29 points. The Qatar industrial sector added 33.41 points and the Services sector was dropped 4.90 points, according to a report of Qatar News Agency.
