The Qatar Exchange was slightly down on Monday 1.66 points or 0.02% to 8,114.49 points from the previous closing of 8,116.15. The volume of shares traded was down to 5,422,787 from 5,945,530 on Sunday, and the value of shares increased to QR245,697,519.68 from QR207,076,610.17 Sunday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped by 0.36% to QR137.50, Barwa Real Estate fell 0.35% to QR28.30, Masref Al Rayan lost 0.43% to QR22.90 and Electricity & Waterdown 1.42% to QR132.10. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector added 37.77 points while the Insurance sector down 8.65 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 4.02 points and the Services sector dropped 31.97 points.
