The Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Wednesday adding 11.37 points or 0.13% to 8,891.80 points from 8,880.43 Tuesday. The volume of shares traded up to 9,672,252 from 6,714,237 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR324,618,271.53  from QR214,279,743.44 Tuesday. Top gainers were Barwa Real Estate which was up 1.01% to QR29.95, Qatar Insurance by 1.03% to QR78.80, Al Kaleej Takaful by 3.36% to QR46.20 and  Nakilat up by 0.73% to QR18.05. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 1.15 while the Insurance sector added 69.15 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 13.89 points and the Services sector up 22.43 points.
