Forty-one ships transited the Suez Canal on Tuesday, with a total cargo of 2.405 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 26 ships laden with 1.7 million tons while the north-bound convoy included 15 vessels carrying 705,000 tons, according to statistics by the Suez Canal Authority.
