Forty-two ships transited the Suez Canal on Monday, with a total cargo of 2.360 million tons.
The south-bound convoy included 18 vessels carrying around 760,000 tons, while the north-bound convoy included 24 ships laden with about 1.600 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
