Damietta port received two container ships and four cargo ships, while four container ships and five cargo ships left the port in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, there are five ships waiting for the completion of the port's entry procedures.

The media office of Damietta port authority said in a statement that two trains loaded with 2,631 tons of wheat and 84 vehicles carrying 3,863 tons of wheat left the port.

On the other hand, the port's silo received 108,719 tons of grain, the statement added.

The export traffic at the port included 10,500 tons of Urea, 434 tons of phosphate, 1,200 tons of dai-ammonia and 300 tons of glass sand, it said.
