The Finance Ministry auctioned on Monday treasury bonds at a total value of EGP 2.250 billion.
In an online statement, the ministry said it sold EGP 1.250 billion of three-year bonds with average interest rate hitting 16.804%. The yield ranged from 16.92% to 16.59%.
It also sold seven-year bonds that had a coupon of 16.983 percent. The yield ranged from 17 percent to 16.6 percent.
The Central Bank of Egypt auctions T-bonds on behalf of the Finance Ministry.
