IKEA is mulling means of injecting more investments into Egypt in the coming period within the framework of expansion plans.
Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil reviewed on Thursday with IKEA manager in Egypt Adosh Sharma the company's expansion plan in Egypt.
In a statement, Qabil said that the improvement of economic indicator was the main catalyst behind the company's decision.
He said the economic reform measures adopted by Egypt contributed to improving the investment climate in Egypt.
Meantime, Sharma said that the Egyptian market has promising investment opportunities in several industrial fields as the company conducts extensive studies around the market to pump new investments within the coming stage.
