Applicants for housing in West Riffa are expected to see a huge respite with a plot of land for 208 houses expected to be handed over to the Ministry of Housing. The land, according to the West Riffa municipal councilor Ali bin Khalil Al Mohannadi, is located in block 910. He told the Bahrain News Agency that His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa had already demarcated the land three years ago. The project is expected to go on stream in 2012.
