Labor and civic groups urged the state-run rail operator Monday to stop suppressing unionized rail workers for having participated in what the government called an illegal strike. The call came as Korea Railroad Corp. (KORAIL) management took disciplinary and legal actions against the union for financial losses incurred from the three-week-long strike that ended in late December.
