Yemen is to receive 5 million euros (6.4 million dollars) more in humanitarian aid from the European Union to address a \"growing hunger crisis,\" the bloc\'s executive said Monday. \"Forty-four per cent of the population are surviving on meagre food rations,\" said EU Humanitarian Aid Kristalina Georgieva in a statement. Monday\'s aid announcement adds to the 20 million euros that had already been earmarked in humanitarian aid for Yemen in 2012, the commission said.
