Unemployed Algerians have begun preparations for a full-scale protest in the east of the country, demonstrating against alleged harassment by security forces in the area. Security officers had restricted Algerians out of work from exercising their right in demanding job opportunities for young people, a group said in a statement. A man was wounded in clashes with security forces on Monday in Om Al Bawaky, 500 kilometres from the capital, Algiers.
