Workers at the National Council for Women (NCW) in Kharga staged a strike on Tuesday demanding a raise as their peers in Cairo.
The NCW workers in Kharga are complaining that they have not received allowances since their appointment three years ago.
They say they have been pressing for better salaries and amendments to the wage structure of the NCW secretariat to achieve equality.
