Government employees in the Gaza Strip staged a strike on Tuesday in protest of the national consensus government's reluctance to give them salaries.

The strike involves all government institutions, ministries and other affiliated bodies, a pro-worker group said.

It warned of future actions would be taken if nothing happened.
