Gaza City - MENA
The Palestinian Workers Syndicate in Gaza suspended Tuesday work in all the governmental bodies and threatened to organize a comprehensive strike in case demands concerning delayed salaries since May were not met.
During a press conference Tuesday, the spokesman for the syndicate Khalil el-Zayan blamed the parties to the reconciliation deal, the presidency and the government of being behind the crisis of the employees in the Gaza enclave which affects some 50,000 Palestinian families.
Zayan called for finding swift solutions for the crisis.
