Egyptian comedian Mazhar Abul Naga died Monday morning at the age of 76.
Abul Naga breathed his last at a hospital, where he had been receiving treatment for weeks now.
He will be laid to rest in the governorate of Daqahliya, his hometown.
A funeral for the actor will be held in Cairo.
Abul Naga was born on August 21, 1941.
He had served at a textile company in Alexandria before starting his career at theaters.
Abul Naga starred in a number of movies, such as "The Poor & Rich", "A Will of a Crazy Man" and "The Poor Don't Go to Heaven".
