An awards ceremony is as much about honouring talent as it is about the glamorous red carpet. Actresses with designer gowns and jewels make their grand entry here. But the red carpet unrolled at Macau for the Zee Cine Awards had a different twist. Instead of women in haute couture, it was the lads in suits — Shah Rukh Khan and Farhan Akhtar — who stole the show. Katrina Kaif, Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra decided to skip the red carpet since they were busy practising for their live acts. But like always, when King Khan takes charge, he steals the limelight. \"I am more nervous about the awards presentation hosting rather than worry who will win. I will try not to poke too much fun,\" said Khan, who was munching on a piece of chocolate. Ask him about it and he quips: \"I am trying to put on weight for my next film.\" Article continues below ‘Grounded\' He adds that his biggest strength is his family who rarely take him seriously. \"That keeps me grounded,\" said Khan. His wife Gauri Khan, clad in a glittering off-white Tarun Tahiliani creation, walked by his side but maintained a polite distance on the red carpet. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara star Farhan Akhtar looked dapper in a suit. \"We had two successful releases this year and it\'s time to move on … after taking home some awards tonight,\" said Akhtar. His wife Adhuna also walked on the red carpet. Awards were not the only hot topic of the evening. For the first time, he hosted couple of segments at the awards ceremony. \"It\'s going to fun and I have a special friend Chunky Pandey who is supporting me,\" said Akhtar, ahead of the show. He even shouted a big hello to his fanbase in Dubai. \"You guys are very kind. Dubai is emerging as a strong market next to north America. I will surely bring my next movie there,\" promised Akhtar. Meanwhile, Dia Mirza in an orange and grey Shantanu Nikhil creation had a winner list already jotted on her mind. \"I would give it to Ranbir for Rockstar and Vidya Balan for The Dirty Picture. I think it\'s a clear verdict this year — no guesses,\" said Mirza, who urged ZCA to explore the wonderful Sin City. \"If you step out of the Venetian, there\'s this quaint Portugese influence everywhere. It reminds me of Goa,\" said Mirza. Actors including Mithun Chakraborty, Zeenat Aman, Zoa Morani and Kajal Aggarwal also walked the red carpet.
