Strong tremors have been felt in Pakistani capital city of Islamabad and its adjoining areas.
Reports reaching Daily Pakistan said the earthquake that shook the country from Mansehra to Kasur, lasted for only few second.
The earthquake occurred near Feyzabad, Afghanistan, and also jolted many parts of Afghanistan and India.
According to geological wing of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) tremor measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale was felt in Peshawar, Swat and other surrounding areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Saturday.
No loss to property or life has been reported yet.
Fear and panic has gripped the residents, especially in the mountainous regions which received a 7.5 strong earthquake on October 26 – centred in the Hindu Kush, the 800km mountain range that stretches between central Afghanistan and northern Pakistan – leaving more than 300 people dead and over 2,000 injured.
