Pakistani army helicopters killed five militants in the north-western tribal region, a security official said on Sunday, according to dpa. The attacks in Bara area of the Khyber tribal region also targeted the hideout of a militant leader, the official said. The violence came one day after militants killed 11 policemen escorting polio vaccinators in the area.
