Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility for a Pakistani army helicopter crash that killed a number of people, including the ambassadors of Norway and the Philippines and the wives of the Malaysian and Indonesian ambassadors.
Asim Bajwa the Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistani Army’s media wing, confirmed the crash in a tweet. "One MI-17 helicopter out of 3 carrying visitors had a crash landing at Naltar.
Six Pakistani and 11 foreigners were onboard when the helicopter crashed, Khaama Press (KP) reported.
Asim Bajwa said two Pakistani pilots and 2-3 foreigners comprised those killed in the crash. Soon after the crash Rescue crews arrived at the site and transported the victims to a nearby treatment center. Three wounded people are announced to be in critical condition.
