As many as 21 Daesh militants were killed Monday in clashes with the Iraqi joint forces and US-led coalition raids.
A statement by the command of the Iraqi joint operations reported that the US-led jets launched nine airstrikes against Daesh hotbeds, where 14 terrorists were killed and 40 sites, four tunnels and two vehicles, one of them were carrying an anti-aircraft weapon, were destroyed.
The statement added that the Iraqi jets also launched 16 raids on several districts to support ground forces.
The Iraqi army artillery destroyed Daesh hotbeds and killed militants inside it, while a warehouse was destroyed in Anbar, the statement said.
The statement added that four Daesh militants were killed when a terror attack was foiled in Anbar, while three others were killed in Salahuddin.
