Iraqi air force dropped on Thursday thousands of leaflets over Mosul city of Nineveh governorate, urging Iraqis to prepare themselves to expel Daesh terrorist group from the city.

Meanwhile, Iraqi Counter Terrorism forces repelled a Daesh terror attack on its position in Anbar governorate, Iraqi War Media Cell said.

The forces destroyed five booby-trapped cars, a bulldozer, an armored vehicle affiliated to the terrorist group as well as killing dozens of Daesh members.
