Tehran - FNA
Iraq's army claimed the lives of four members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) Takfiri group in Baghdad on Tuesday.
A military source told National Iraqi news agency that the security forces continued their mop-operations in Northwest of Baghdad, leaving four ISIL terrorists dead.
The Takfiri terrorists currently control parts of Eastern Syria and Iraq’s Northern and Western regions. They have committed heinous crimes and threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians and Ezadi Kurds during their advances in Iraq.
Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.
The terrorist group has links with Saudi intelligence, and is believed to be supported by the Israeli regime.
