The Iraqi armed forces freed Imam Gharbi village in Ninawa governorate from the control of Daesh militant group, according to Iraqi sources.
The sources told Al Arabia news channel that the Popular Mobilization Forces' 50th Brigade in cooperation with the 16th division of the Iraqi army and Salah al Din police regained control of Imam Gharbi village.
The sources added that the village was then combed and cleared from criminal pockets.
