The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces liberated Wiran village in western Tal Afar after inflicting Daesh terrorist group heavy losses.
The Nineteenth Brigade managed to kill seven elements of Daesh and seize a large amount of weapons and ammunition during liberating Wiran village from the control of Daesh, the Iraqi Media News Agency quoted a statement by the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces as saying on Wednesday.
The engineering department affiliated to the Nineteenth Brigade began removing explosive charges and mines from schools and roads, the statement read.
