Iraqi security forces arrested on Sunday a terrorist cell, the Iraqi military intelligence announced.
The two-member cell admitted to launching attacks on residents of Baghdad city.
They confessed to carrying out car bomb blasts in Baghdad and propagating terrorist ideas among Iraqi citizens via social media networks, according to a statement released by Iraqi Defense Ministry.
Iraqi warplanes pounded Daesh position in a district in eastern Tikrit city of Saladin governorate, killing three Daesh fighters, Iraqi security sources said.
