Peshmerga forces on Friday managed to repel an attack by Daesh militants in southern Tuz Khormato district, Saladin governorate.
While a number of Daesh terrorists were killed during the clashes, two Peshmerga soldiers were killed and two more injured, a Kurdish military source said.
The sources added that one of the explosive devices planted by Daesh terrorists near Ba`ir Ahmed and Abdel went off, leaving at least two Peshmerga soldiers dead.
