The Iraqi army announced Thursday that six Daesh militants were killed in air raids on the city of Tal Afar in western Nineveh province.
Acting on an intelligence tip, the army launched the airstrikes in which two Daesh positions, including an arms cache, were destroyed and about six terrorists were killed, the Iraqi military media center said in a statement on Thursday.
