Syrian army breaks ISIS siege of key air base

The General Command of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces called on the residents of the northeastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city to return to their homes now that the Syrian army has restored security and stability to them, SANA reported.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the General Command said that the state institutions have already begun to rehabilitate those secured neighborhoods.

During the past two days, hundreds of families have returned to their homes in Hanano area after the army restored security and stability to them, and the authorities in the province are working on restoring services and utilities in that area.

Army units, in cooperation with supporting forces, restored security and stability fully to a number of neighborhoods and areas in the east of Aleppo city during the past few days, including the Youth Housings, Scientific Research Housing, al-Haidariya, al-Sakhour, al-Inzarat, al-Sheikh Khedr, al-Sheikh Saeed, Jabal Badro, and al-Halk, in addition to Sleiman al-Halabi water station and large parts of Bustan al-Basha, al-Halwaniya, al-Jazmati, al-Bab road, and Karm and Qaterji.
