Syrian Army and Air Force units mounted military operations in Deiz Ezzor on Monday against Daesh posts and fortifications, Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported.
The operations killed 12 terrorists and destroyed a post used for manufacturing improvised explosive devices (IED) located near Al Tamween roundabout. 
Meanwhile, Syrian warplanes launched heavy raids on Daesh fortifications and routes in the areas and neighborhoods of Al Panorama, Al Ummal, and the old airport, as well as in Madaan Ateeq village in the southern part of Deir Ezzor's countryside.
