Iraqi forces killed more than 50 Daesh militants during battles which took place within the framework of the operation of liberating western Iraq's Anbar, a security source of the Anbar Operations Command said on Saturday.
The source added that among the killed militants were Daesh leaders and suicide bombers, the Iraqi news agency reported.
The Iraqi troops managed to destroy eight explosive-packed vehicles and defuse dozens of explosive devices, the source said.
