At least 50 Jihadists have returned back to Germany from Syria and Iraq where they fought alongside Daesh terrorists, website Almania quoted a statement by German Federal Foreign Office as saying on Sunday.
More than 960 people traveled from Germany to join extremist militants overseas, the statement said, adding that one in three of them returned back home.
Women account for 15 percent of those returnees.
The statement added that the remaining jihadists fled to Turkey after the recent defeat of Daesh terrorists in Syria and Iraq.
