The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday trading with gains prompted by purchases of foreign institutions and investment funds.
The market capital hit 3.9 billion pounds today to close at EGP 760.1 billion.
The EGX 30 benchmark index upped 0.17 percent to reach 14.000,533 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) went up by 0.65 percent to 785,69 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index also increased 1.19 percent to close at 1762,49 points.
