One person was killed and his mother was injured in the collapse of a house in al Taranah village in Sadat township of Menufiya.
Menufiya Security Director Ahmed Etman said he received a report on the collapse of a two-storey clay brick house in al Taranah village.
Civil protection forces rushed to the scene to rescue their residents.
Prosecution was notified to launch a probe and a committee of the city council was ordered to inspect the collapsed house.
