Saudi Arabia's Ambassador in Cairo Ahmed Kattan praised Thursday the decision to allow women in Saudi Arabia to drive their vehicles.
Kattan said in a statement that the decision comes in light of the Saudi leadership's keenness to empower women and allow them to carry out their responsibilities towards the society.
He underlined that a large number of illiterate women received education and became a productive member of the society through working in the public and private labor sectors in a short period of time.
