The Chamber of Chemical Industries of the Federation of Egyptian Industries will organize promotion campaigns in Africa to tap new markets.
In a statement on Thursday, the chamber's board chairman, Sherif Gebaly, underlined the importance of exportation to Africa, especially western African states like Senegal, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire.
The chamber will cooperate with the Chemical Export Council (CEC) to arrange for the promotion campaigns as well as specialized exhibitions to boost chemical industries exports to these markets.
He noted that trade between Egypt and Africa will witness a fillip in the coming period.
