Cairo to host conference on investments

Cairo will host a conference on investments in the South Mediterranean region on September 13, according to sources at the Union for the Mediterranean on Thursday.
The conference will be organized by the European Bank for Investment in cooperation with the union to increase investments in this region.
The conference will focus on current economic developments, possible simulators to economic growth in the South Mediterranean region, financing small and medium-sized institutions and the role of investments in enhancing international competitiveness of local companies.
A number of European bank and the Union for the Mediterranean officials will take part in the event along several businessmen and representatives of governments and international financial institutions.
