Palestinian activist Raed Salah was arrested overnight Tuesday following a raid on his home in Umm al Fahm city, some 20 km northwest of Jenin in Israel's Haifa district.
Ynet reported that Israeli forces stormed Salah's house in Al Mahajna district in Umm al Fahm city, searched it, then arrested him.
Salah, the leader of the northern branch of the Islamic Movement, was released from prison on January 17 after serving a nine-month sentence over charges of violence incitement.
