Iraqi forces on Thursday seized a huge amount of weapons and explosives hidden inside Nimrud church in Mosul city, Al Arabiya cited local sources as saying.
The Military Intelligence Directorate said 120 mortar shells, SPG-9 rockets and explosives were found in the church.
Iraqi joint forces had regained earlier this month the Mosul city from Daesh terrorist group after controlling the city for about three years.
