Syrian army forces are advancing toward areas under the control of Manbij Military Council after Daeh militants retreated, Syrian activists said on Monday.
The forces have reached near areas controlled by Manbij Military Council, which works under Syrian Democratic Forces, an alliance of Kurdish and Arab fighters.
The advance of the forces cut off the road ahead of the Turkish forces seeking to advance toward Aleppo’s eastern countryside, the activists said.
