Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar stressed the depth of ties binding Egypt and South Korea especially in the fields of education and training.
This came during a meeting held on Monday between the minister and the president of the university as well as his accompanying delegation at the ministry's headquarters.
The meeting took up a suggestion to establish a branch for the university in Egypt's new administrative capital.
Abdel Ghaffar pointed out to the keenness of his ministry to promote joint cooperation in all domains especially technical education and training so as to qualify students to join the labor market.
He further stressed that the Egyptian political leadership seeks activating fruitful cooperation mechanisms with the South Korean side.
The minister affirmed the importance of benefiting from the Korean experience in developing the industrial complex in Quesna and providing industrial equipment needed for all the departments of the complex to hone the skills of the students.
