Egypt's Ambassador to Rwanda Namerra Negm said that Egypt will offer 100 training grants to Rwanda's youth to earn the International Business Driving License (IBDL).
The scholarships are provided by the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) and the IBDL training center in Egypt, said the ambassador during the the African Youth Conference in Kigali.
Negm pointed out that the scholarships are part of Egypt's initiative to train Rwandan youth in the field of entrepreneurship, as well as small and medium enterprises management.
IBDL's CEO Khaled Khallaf and Chief Development Officer to Africa Mohamed Galal attended the conference and held meetings with the Rwandan ministers of youth, labor and education.
During the meetings, both sides discussed means to hone the skills of Rwandans in business management.
